ADIDAS AMERICAN STYLE
Article Abstract:
Having Adidas as one of its major accounts, Leagas Delaney, a London-based advertising firm, has adopted strategies that are slightly distinct from those practiced in Europe. At its San Francisco office under direction of American executives, Leagas this year is backed by $60 million in media spending, compared to $15 million in 1997 for Adidas ads. Adidas saw a rise by 85 percent in American sales in 1998.
