Kiwi bankruptcy sets stage for link with Pan Am

Article Abstract:

With only six airplanes left in its fleet, Kiwi International Airlines is booking flights in advance even while filing for bankruptcy protection. All its planes are leased and two were repossessed recently. Logan Int'l Airport threatened eviction for lack of payment. Under Chapter 11 protection, Kiwi expects $3 million from Pan Am to help it recover.

Counterfeiters competing for golf equipment market

Article Abstract:

Counterfeit golf equipment is estimated to be a $4 billion a year industry. Imitation clubs are also flooding the market, causing more companies to explore expensive patent infringement suits. U.S. Customs service has been diligent with seizures and arrests. Most counterfeit equipment were made in China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand.
