Article Abstract:

The various hurdles faced by the organizations in implementing Six Sigma methodology are described. Lack of constancy of purpose, improper project selection criteria, lack of resources, lack of coordination between functions, and non-availability of data are some of the hurdles experienced by organizations during the implementation.

TQM, structural and strategic flexibility and performance: An empirical research study

Article Abstract:

The level of compatibility between Total Quality Management (TQM) and flexibility management according to their impact on performance is examined. Companies with TQM achieve greater flexibility and greater adjustment to the requirements of the environment but are unable to achieve greater performance.
