There has been higher demand for automobiles and trucks in the US in 1999 due to the good economy, and total sales are expected to reach 16.5 mil vehicles during the year. The companies that comprise the auto and truck industry are expected to spend more on research, turn to the Internet, and tighten operations in the year 2000 in addition to other new strategies and goals. These stocks are expected to outperform the market in the year 2000, and several potential for the next three to five years.
