Boral Energy and WMC Ltd took a unique approach with their marketing development strategies. Both companies decided to development their markets first before they even decided to produce their product. By taking this non-traditional approach, the companies where able to develop a distribution channel strategy and significantly reduce their risks when compared to traditional, product-first strategies.
