Bellwether broker
Article Abstract:
Brett Spork, aged 41, who worked in Macquarie Bank's retail broking business in Sydney up to 2002, was instrumental in building the business to about 250 advisers, alongside Warwick Evans. In April 2003 he became chief executive role at the online broker E Trade, his investment philosophy being that only one person is to blame for a surprise and that is oneself as all the information is already there.
