Article Abstract:
China has tripled its steel capacity. The country imports iron ore and Australia is a major exporter. However, recent hike in prices of iron ore are likely to create problems for steel industry in China. In this context, the price negotiations between Japanese and Chinese mills with iron suppliers are also mentioned.
