Clamping down on worker crime
Article Abstract:
Small firms are more vulnerable than large to crimes perpetrated by employees such as selling company-made equipment and keeping the proceeds. Defense against such crimes includes careful pre-employment screening and internal checks and controls that make it more difficult to commit crime.
