Developing communication within new workgroups

Article Abstract:

Research on communication interactions within a newly-formed workgroup was conducted using interaction content analysis (ICA). The new instrument, developed by Robert Bales, sheds light as to how groups of people choose to express themselves in a problem-solving situation. ICA also focuses on interaction content to complement interaction process and can be utilized for the empirical investigation of the long-term development of communication interaction within workgroups.
