APS uncovers source of fraudulent covers
Article Abstract:
The altered covers by Gregor first came to the attention of an APS member. Later the US Postal Service was able to get a confession from Gregor. Several of his expertly done alterations are described. Some of them are historically inaccurate which was what led to the discovery of his fraud.

Informal conversations with business travelers in New York area bars and lounges reveal that a considerable number of married men cheat on their wives while on the road. A common sentiment among them is that since the infidelity takes place far away from home, it is easier to rationalize.

The Federal Reserve Board (Fed) announced Mar 10, 1993, that except California and states in the Northeast, the US economy showed signs of strengthening. The Fed predicted that the US economy would grow 3% in 1993.
