The adoptation of institutionally contested organizational practices: The emergence of stock option pay in Germany
Article Abstract:
The transnational diffusion of organizational practices is examined from institutional environments in which they are legitimate to environments in which key institutional actors contest them. The result obtained from the study of stock option pay adoption among large German firms has supported the hypotheses of the adoption of institutionally contested organizational practices.

The emergence of governance in an open source community
Article Abstract:
A study examined the method of self-governance among small communities producing collective goods, focusing on an open source software community. Results revealed that a combination of bureaucratic and democratic practices facilitated its governance system.
