GST really means get set today

Article Abstract:

Most business enterprises will not be fully prepared for the July 2000 implementation of the goods and services tax (GST) because the effect of the GST is too broad. Businesses must realize that the GST is not just a finance and administration issue. It will affect systems, processes, and tools in many areas, including sales, accounts payable, and marketing. Preparation for the GST should be a top priority because the failure to comply and interpret the tax rules could result in substantial fines.
