GST registrations might be a surprise roll-call

Article Abstract:

ATO expects 1.5 million GST registrations, though Parker feels that estimate is low by 40%. Parker believes that many businesses will voluntarily register; registration is required except for those with less than an expected annual turnover of $50,000.
