Growth aspirations among Norwegian entrepreneurs
Article Abstract:
An exploratory study was conducted to determine the variables which affected corporate growth in Norwegian entrepreneurs. Two hundred fifty Norwegian entrepreneurs who started businesses in 1986 were used in the study. A modified questionnaire developed by the Society for Associated Researchers on Entrepreneurship was used. Motivation, education, industry and some organizational variables were related to growth aspirations. Manufacturing firms tend to have greater corporate growth than other types of businesses.

Moderating effects of tolerance for ambiguity and risk-taking propensity on the role conflict-perceived performance relationship: evidence from Singaporean entrepreneurs
Article Abstract:
Study results show that Singaporean entrepreneurs who rate highly on risk-taking propensity or tolerance for ambiguity are in a better position to counteract the impact of role stress in their entrepreneurial role. Such entrepreneurs can therefore expect better performance outcomes. Several constraining circumstances can explain the weaker interactive effects revealed by the study.
