Head and heart in quality implementation-applying the quality philosophy within Irish healthcare institutions

Article Abstract:

Total quality management was high on the agenda for health care providers in Ireland stemming from pressure to change from both purchasers and users of healthcare. The research, which was conducted, gave important implications for Irish healthcare institutions and would assist in promoting discussion on quality service management within the sector.

Measuring performance in the healthcare filed: A multiple stakeholders' perspective

Article Abstract:

The performance in a healthcare organization is measured by utilizing Kanji's Business Excellence Model, which uses a multidisciplinary integrated systems approach. Measurement findings based on accerediation bodies approach showed that the hospital is lacking international standards.
