Fla. firm buys out Hardcore
Article Abstract:
Hardcore Composites Inc., the New Castle, DE-based private manufacturing firm, was acquired by Jacksonville, FL-based Harris Specialty Chemicals, maker of chemicals for the highway construction industry. Hardcore will add around 200 jobs in Delaware with the deal, that is not expected to block the company's plan to lead the takeover of the St. Georges Bridge in Delaware. Hardcore will also continue to operate in Delaware under the same name, but it will be managed as a division of Harris Specialty.
