Plasvacc, a small biotechnology company based in Queensland has come up with a novel method of raising finance for its research and development activity. It is selling plasma products for animals and using the profits there from for its research. Plasvacc is conducting a research for developing life-saving antibodies by using a process that involves manufacture of plasma from horses.
