IQ is necessary but not sufficient

Emotional intelligence is a set of acquired skills and competencies evolved from recognizing and managing emotions. People who possess these are healthier, less depressed, more productive at work, and have better relationships. Importance of emotional intelligence than intelligence quotient (IQ) in making a more effective leader, is discussed.
