Article Abstract:

Many questions are being raised concerning the issue of joint ventures between United States and foreign companies. The benefit of joint ventures with foreign manufacturers out weigh the disadvantages. The problems that can arise from joint venture partnerships are examined. The industries that are involved in joint ventures are presented. The fear of antitrust prosecution is of concern in the formation of joint ventures, but as long as the laws are not violated there is little need for concern.
