Wal King, Leighton Holdings' owner, is grappling with series of problems being faced by the engineering and construction company, including the Australian government's decision to halt the sale of Australian Submarine Corporation. The major shareholder, Hochtief AG has taken advantage of the consequent fall in the shareprices to increase its shareholding.
