Coke and Pepsi escalate their water fight

Coca-Cola has hired Berlin Cameron & Partners for a $20 million ad campaign for Dasani bottled water as PepsiCo mounts a $14 million campaign for Aquafina from agency FCB. Coke's water ranks 3rd and growing behind Aquafina and 2nd and Poland Spring at #1. Dasani's ads target women between ages 25 and 49 and feature bands like Earth, Wind & Fire.

Ernst & Young hopes campaign will help it stand out in crowd

Article Abstract:

Ernst & Young budgeted $50 million for print and television advertising, in a campaign designed by D'Arcy Inc. This is a 700% increase over last years spending. Part of the firm's strategy is to tout its ability to help companies build the e-commerce part of their business.
