Management Practices of Successful Female Business Owners
Article Abstract:
Current statistics on the success of small firms owned by women are very poor. A research study was conducted to determine the reasons for the low profit share of the female owner. A pilot study on female owner management practices analyzes daily activities to find common work behavior. Results reveal that women entrepreneurs need education, experience, and delegation skills. Female business owners need to spend more energy on management techniques. Profit was not affected by performance of many management functions.
