Hence, business enterprises should have a progressive and advanced procurement management system that they can use to improve productivity and have accurate future requirement predictions. The Internet or the World Wide Web is an effective interactive and integrated procurement communication tool that companies can use. Through web technology, the company/supplier communication will be enhanced, thus, making more timely deliveries.

Computers and software should be reprogrammed to comply with the 2000-year change to avoid date-related application failures. This is true because most computers and software have been programmed to accept only the last two digits of the year. Thus, the year 2000 will be interpreted as 1900. To be 2000-compliant, a part would be physically replaced in computers. To keep up with this trend software makers have developed 2000-compliant software such as Primavera.
