Medical research: second breast cancer gene found
Article Abstract:
A team led by Michael R. Stratton at England's Institute of Cancer Research reported finding a second major gene whose mutation can cause breast cancer. The finding of the gene, called BRCA2, was reported in the Dec 21, 1995, Nature journal.
