Issues concerning international economic developments in Mexico are examined, focusing on Mexico's decision to increase oil exports by 150,000 barrells a day, effective Apr 1, 2000, in accord with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries decision to increase exports and lower prices. Topics also include an agreement between Mexico and Brazil regarding automobile imports and efforts by Banco de Mexico to fight inflation.
