NBA's sponsors may be slow to rebound
Article Abstract:
TV networks and the sports apparel industry are glad the NBA player lockout is over, but analysts say ad rates could be much different from what they were six months ago. Viewers will most likely be in fewer numbers, which means the ad rates will go down. This will hurt the league. Endorsements are also down. It's too soon to be sure, but it could all affect next season as well, depending on fans.
