The fatal flaws in super: a crisis is looming in retirement savings unless the superannuation system is fixed urgently

The failure of the super policies of the Australian government to increase the retirement savings of Australia's ageing population is discussed. It is suggested that there is a need to introduce effective measures to boost the retirement savings.

Superannuation law does not prohibit self-managed fund from owning art. However, the way in which carefully chosen art can be a highly liquid investment for superfunds is discussed.
