PNC Bank Selects Doner Over Mullen After Lengthy Pitch

Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank has given its estimated $25 million account to not Mullen Advertising, but co-finalist Doner Advertising located in Southfield, Mich. Doner will work on creative, strategic and media buying tasks, and expects its first work to break in September of 1999, said agency chairman and chief executive officer Alan Kalter. Mullen's most recent work in the category was for BankBoston two years ago.

Wallwork Curry To Support Local Children's Group

BOSTON--The New England Home for Little Wanderers has selected Wallwork Curry Sandler here as its agency of record after a review of undisclosed shops. Billings were not disclosed. Donovan Group in Northborough, Mass., previously handled the account. The group recently merged with Boston Children's Services to form a new entity offering adoption, counseling and residential care for children in the Boston area.
