The stock price of Pacific Ethanol continues to slip and is trading at 80 percent below its $45 high in mid 2006. Speculative investors may consider this an attractive turnaround candidate especially if the U.S. energy bill passes and boosts the demand for ethanol. The Fresno, California based company is engaged in the marketing of ethanol in the Western United States through its subsidiary, Kinergy Marketing.
