China's parliament met Mar 5-18, 1995, to discuss future policies and approve previously-approved decisions made by the government. Other issues decided during the session include approval of political nominees and petitions filed by dissidents.

Parliament convenes to end white rule

Pres Frederik W. de Klerk asked the South African Parliament to enact laws that would end white minority rule. Justice Minister Kobie Coetsee issued a proposed post-apartheid bill of rights on Feb 2, 1993.
