Article Abstract:

The domestic and international petroleum industries together form the Petroleum (integrated) industry. Statistics of some of the companies in the industry and their securities rankings as of December 17, 2004 are furnished. The industry has gained from the rise in oil prices in 2004 and the trend in 2005 will depend again depend on the trend in oil prices and global aspects. In the long run the shares of the industry are expected to perform well.
