Article Abstract:
Statistics of some of the companies in the power industry and their securities rankings as of July 8, 2005 are furnished. Investors have not responded positively to alternative energy sectors, despite the fact that oil prices have reached $60 a barrel. Overall, the prospects for the industry do not seem to be very bright from short-term perspective.
