Many United States companies are utilizing the major drawback in Franchising Code of Conduct by reselling Australian master franchise rights. AmericaEs WetzelEs Pretzels is one such company, which had sold three master franchises to Australia in a decade, but failed in all its three attempts. Many foreign chains fail mainly because they choose inexperienced and undercapitalized master franchisees.
