Risk assessment and options in public finance
Article Abstract:
Project finance involves financial and legal negotiations among parties whose goal is to sponsor segregated projects while minimizing risks through the use of debt and equity. Each participant faces different risks and has different fuctions while management personnel should guide and propel the project through its entirety. Many countries have recognized the viability of project finance and their enthusiatic implementation illustrates that the practice has gained acceptance globally.

Reg Hunt slows down

Former race car driver Reg Hunt, the owner of the largest Holden automobile dealership in Australia, has decided to retire at the age of 75. Hunt's Holden dealership has annual revenues of A$300 million; Hunt's personal fortune is estimated at A$95 million. Hunt is selling of his assets, including his car yard to James Packer and Toyota for A$24 million.
