High technology leader Terry Cutler and Rothschild Australia Ltd. have jointly planned to introduce an $80 million "new economy" fund aimed at industries such as communications and technology. The exact type of fund was not disclosed, though it is likely to be equity-based and will include companies with a strong ability to capitalize on the online economy. Institutional investors are eager for Internet stocks, but are frustrated when traditional financial analysis does not apply to online investments.
