Article Abstract:

Tassal Group, a Tasmania's leading salmon producer farmer, is due to be listed on the Australian stock exchange on November 12, 2003, for which institutional investors are breaking up the available stock. Tassal was bought by Mariner Corporate Finance and similar domestic producers, who face pressure from cheap imports hitting the stock market, limiting them from boosting prices and causing investor concern.
