Queensland government has recently furnished the details of a $250,000 business incentive granted by it to drink company Berri for setting up business in the state. The information was provided at the request of the National Party. However, the State Premier, Peter Beattie is planning to change the stateEs freedom of information legislation to prevent further dissemination of incentive information which is raising doubts as to accountability for the incentive scheme.
