The retail industry of Australia is booming in the Queensland state. Each year the 85,000 people arrive bringing in extra revenue of $600million. According to a forecasting firm, retail turnover in Queensland grew by 11.4% in 2003- 04, well above the national growth rate of 6.8% and this trend is likely to continue for t he next few years.
