It seems that the Internet is making it easier to cut out the middleman and therefore, to cut costs to consumers. Industries centered around being the middleman are struggling to find new direction for their business focus. Marshall Industries, one of the largest electronics distributors in the United States, is seeking ways to prevent failure because of the Internet. Robert Rodin, CEO of Marshall Industries, is attacking this problem by trying to offer more services as well as finding ways to use the Internet to their own advantage.
