The culture of an organization is influenced by the words, attitudes, values and style of the chief executive officer. The culture affects the work environment of the employees. Positive and negative images of companies exist due to the cultures of the organizations. Typical kinds of cultures are outlined with reference to planning and operations procedures. Culture reflects the type of planning in an organization. The team approach is advocated for creating and maintaining shared values in an organization. With shared values, a group can work together, formulate strategic planning goals and create an excellent, productive culture.
