Article Abstract:
The sales figures of the Tasaal Group and Aquatas, Tasmania's largest salmon farming company are discussed. By the ends of December 2004, sales were 15%, or 130 tonnes below forecasts for 2004-05 bringing in a monetary shortfall of $13 million. Domestic sales were 13% below budget and exports more than 28%.
