The industries involved in providing health care are mentioned and the total amount spent on health care in 2003-04 is analyzed. Health care expenditure forms substantial part of GDP. The governments presently meet the health care costs but in near future, the consumer will have to take over.

A glimpse at the trends in Australia's business tourism market in 2005 is presented. Statistics of inbound and outbound business travel is presented. Based on these figures estimates for future are extrapolated. Profitability of business tourism is assessed.
