The greening of Goldman

Goldman Sachs Group Inc., an investment bank has adopted an environmental policy, which is progressive and aggressive for its employees. More than 30 commercial banks have signed on a set of benchmarks for calculating environmental and social risks of investments, while Goldman believes the aggressive policy is good for business, and renewable energy sources are attractive investments.

The biggest rock festival Superfly made its name in the late 1990s by throwing all-night concerts for the legions of collegians who annually descent there for Jazz Fest. Superfly has not only pulled it off logistically but also made it profitable and is faced with growing competition from satellite radio, free and fast digital downloads and the increasingly crowded festival calendar.
