The intention to use computerized reservation systems: The moderating effects of organizational support and supplier incentive

Article Abstract:

The phenomenon of technology adoption for front-line service is studied and potential factors that nurture positive intentions toward technology usage are identified. The study provides a useful insight into research, indicating that the service organization and technology market supplier together can guide front-line workers to feel less stressed yet more challenged by their job, which might result in better customer service.

In pursuit of short-term goals: Anticipating the unintended consequences of using special incentives to motivate the sales force

Article Abstract:

The extent to which the various problematic behaviors are likely to occur under conditions of high motivation to attain short-term targeted goals is examined. Affective commitment and relationship of salesperson and sales managers may help the sales managers to anticipate problematic behaviors, along with understanding when control mechanisms are needed so as to reduce the occurrence of these means for goal pursuit.

Moderating unintended pollution: The role of sustainable product design
