Information systems management issues: reporting and relevance

Article Abstract:

Several issues are raised with regards to the series of information systems management published in major management information systems journals. One major concern has to do with the method in which the results are reported. By neglecting the factor structure among the issues, a reader may easily be misled. Suggestions on how to deal with this are provided. However, another concern is about relevance. Authors must show proof of the importance and practical uses of their results in specific and identifiable terms.
