Toiletries/cosmetics industry

Article Abstract:

Stocks in the toiletries and cosmetic industry performed well in 1999 and are also expected to perform well also in the year 2000 with the favorable US economy in the coming year. The industry, however, needs to seek major innovations as the opportunities in the future are risky as well as alluring with mature markets and the strong American dollar. Investors need to select those stocks with global networks, sustainable market share, and strong brands.
