Tourism seeks private money
Article Abstract:
The tourism industry in Australia is proposing the Government to introduce infrastructure bonds, which the government had omitted from its report in 2003. The tourism industry lobby group TTF Australia says that bonds are one way of encouraging more private-sector investment in tourism infrastructure, thus concludes that private money is needed to ensure that infrastructure keeps up with the demand.
