Ukranian president agrees to abide by START pact; Bush, Kravchuk discuss disarmament

Ukrainian pres Leonid Kravchuk stated that the Ukraine would reduce its nuclear weapons in accordance with the START. Treaty terms call for a 30% reduction in long-range nuclear arms. Kravchuk denied that all of Ukraine's tactical weapons have been shipped to Russia for dismantling.
