Article Abstract:

A case study of household products' giant NCH is presented. Once a very valued stock, NCH has sunk to a new low. The slump in NCH stock is due to problems with foreign sales, a lack of good salespeople, and a general drop in earnings. The fate of NCH suggests that many of 1983s high-flying high-tech stocks may be overvalued.
