A game-theoretical cooperative mechanism deign for a two-echelon decentralized supply chain

Article Abstract:

The non-cooperative behavior in a two-echelon decentralized supply chain, composed of one supplier and n retailers, is analyzed. In order to guarantee optimal cooperation in the supply chain management, several Nash equilibrium contracts are designed in echelon inventory games and local inventory games.

An evolutionary game model is developed to analyze retailers' evolutionary stable strategies under duopoly market condition. Extent to which demand and supply chain disruption influences retailers' strategies is also examined.
